Firefighters from the Lower Alloways Creek Fire & Rescue and the Elsinboro Fire Company participated in a joint training exercise on advanced fireground operations on June 17.
According to officials, the exercise added Incident Command, firefighter accountability, Mayday protocols, and Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) activities to a previous missing fireman scenario. In addition to strengthening communication and teamwork during high-risk situations, the practical exercise gave crews the chance to practice synchronized reactions.
