During a celebration of life event on June 7th, Elsinboro Fire Company members paid tribute to the life and legacy of devoted supporter Liz Yerkes.

According to officials, Yerkes was a devoted friend of the department whose kindness and assistance strengthened the group's goal and enabled volunteer firemen serve the community. The department declared that the hall has been formally dedicated as the Liz Yerkes Hall in honor of her enduring achievements. Chief Sean Elwell discussed Yerkes' dedication to community service and the beneficial effects of her years of assistance during the event.
