Rangeley, ME - Rangeley Fire & Rescue responded to an unusual incident on Main Street after reports of a dog stranded on a rooftop.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the dog had reportedly jumped from an apartment window and became stuck on a roof overhang, unable to safely return inside. Crews deployed a ground ladder to access the roof and carefully reached the animal.
Firefighters were able to safely guide the dog back through the apartment window, where it was reunited with its owner unharmed. No injuries were reported, and officials said the incident ended safely.
