Alloway Township Fire Company personnel joined the Bureau of Fire Prevention of the City of Bridgeton Fire Department on June 24th to assist the L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Camp at Camp Edge.

According to officials, Ladder 19 and Tender 19 took part in the community outreach event, where firefighters taught campers about fire machinery, personal protective equipment, and the function of the fire service. Additionally, children got the chance to participate in an interactive learning experience by climbing the department's aerial ladder while being supervised by firefighters.

Community activities like the L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Camp, according to department leaders, improve links between firefighters and the communities they serve while educating youth about fire safety.
