This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Clayton, N.J. — June 26 — After Sarah Richartz, Mark Manera, and Jon Rehm completed the Firefighter I training at the Salem County Fire Academy, Clayton Fire Company welcomed three newly qualified firemen. Classroom education and practical training in fire suppression, search and rescue, ladder operations, water supply, hazardous materials awareness, and firefighter safety were all part of the course.

Manera finished his probationary training, and Richartz and Rehm graduated from the department's junior firefighter program. By increasing the number of trained firefighters available to respond to emergencies throughout the borough and nearby mutual aid areas, their graduation enhances Clayton Fire Company's operational readiness and supports dependable fire and rescue service for locals.
