Massachusetts department gets a Firovac

A Firovac Hawk QP vacuum tanker was delivered to the Williamstown Fire District and features include a 2,600 gallon polished aluminum tank, Waterous CLV 500 GPM fire pump, Firovac Double Power Fold Down Portable Tank Bracket, and two 3,000 gallon portable tanks. All of this is on an International HV607 chassis with a Cummins L9 450 HP engine and Allison 3000 EVS transmission.
In addition, there are lower compartments on each side including a transverse rear compartment and short high side with channel board, a hose tray capable of holding 500' of 4" flat lay hose, 6-strand On-Spot chains, and 3 air-operated water valves.
Also included is a Hale floating pump on a slide-out tray in the passenger side front compartment with the float attachment set on a tray over the flat lay hose area.
