Four Berlin Firefighters Earned Firefighter I and II Certification

BERLIN, N.J. — June 9 — After completing the Firefighter I and Firefighter II programs at the Camden County Regional Emergency Training Center, probationary firemen Frank Eastwick, Lucky Hunger, Michael Quigley, and Rodney Cortes were acknowledged by Berlin Fire Company No. 1. After months of classroom teaching, live-fire drills, and practical training in fire suppression, rescue operations, and firefighter safety, the certification was obtained.


As members of the department's team, the program equipped candidates to react to crises in a safe and efficient manner. Department officials acknowledged the four members' dedication to training, public safety, and ongoing devotion to the Berlin community while also congratulating them on attaining a significant career milestone.
