Seven Safely Assisted After Boat Runs Aground in Clinton

Members of the Clinton Police Department and Clinton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a distressed watercraft on June 10th that was carrying four youngsters and three adults.
According to officials, rescuers found a Boston Whaler that had become bogged in shallow water due to engine problems. To reach the vessel, help the people, and safely steer the boat out of the shallows, firefighters deployed the department's Zodiac inflatable rescue boat. The ship and its occupants were subsequently escorted back to the boat launch by Fire Boat 92.
There were no reported injuries. Madison Hose Company No. 1's mutual aid during the incident was appreciated by department superiors. All seven individuals were safely recovered because to the coordinated response, according to officials.
