Firefighters from the Derby Fire Department and the Ansonia Fire Department participated in a joint training exercise on June 23 at a building that Griffin Hospital had provided.
According to officials, the purchased building gave firemen a realistic setting in which to exercise coordinated teamwork, fireground tactics, and interior operations under circumstances akin to those found during emergency responses.
