Terryville VFD Marks Memorial Day

Terryville, CT. — May 25 — In observance of Memorial Day, the Terryville Volunteer Fire Department paid tribute to the American military personnel who lost their lives while serving their country. The department joined Connecticut communities in honoring the service and sacrifice of those who lost their lives in every conflict in the nation's history.


Veterans, first responders, and locals attended ceremonies, wreath presentations, and moments of reflection on Memorial Day throughout the state. According to the government, the day provided a chance to consider the sacrifices made by departed service members and to acknowledge the long-lasting effects of their commitment to defending the country's liberties.
