John Paulding Engine Co. 1 of Sparkill and Palisades has placed into service a 2024 Spartan/Fouts Bros. 1500-gpm/1000-gwt pumper with Rockland County Department 16.  The raised rood cab has eight seats along with portable radio and hand light chargers.  The extended bumper basket houses a pre-connect hose line, plus there is 1500-feet of 4-inch LDH in the hose bed.  It possesses a portable Warn which with front end receiver.  Ground ladders and pike poles are stored in a hose bed compartment and there is a rear 2.5-inch discharge gate. There is one hard suction hose mounted on each side of the apparatus.  The rig carries assorted saws, fans, extrication equipment and a portable M18 light tower.  It also has roll-out tool trays, scene lights, rear vision camera, "L" shaped water tank, LED lighting and a deck gun and booster reel located above the pump.
