Riverton, CT. — May 30 — The Litchfield County Fire School's Aggressive Firefighter Program was attended by three firefighters from the Riverton Volunteer Fire Department. Hose advancement, fire attack operations, and fireground decision-making were the main topics of the instruction. In order to enhance collaboration, communication, and operational efficacy during emergency situations, participants worked through realistic scenarios.
Through the program, firefighters could learn alongside members of other departments and hone critical skills. Ongoing training is still crucial for keeping firemen prepared for a range of situations, according to department officials. Techniques frequently employed in emergency response and structural firefighting operations were reinforced by the course.
