Bantam Fire Company Observed Memorial Day

Bantam, Conn. — May 25 — Bantam Fire Company members observed Memorial Day and paid tribute to service soldiers who lost their lives while serving their country, joining communities around the nation in doing so. The yearly celebration honored the sacrifices made by military personnel over the course of the country's history. Many localities staged memorial services, parades, and ceremonies to honor those who lost their life defending the nation.


The day also represented the ideals of duty, service, and dedication to others for those in the emergency services community. Bantam Fire Company joined locals in honoring the deceased and acknowledging the long-lasting effects of their sacrifice on the country.
