Bantam Members Extended Condolences Following Line-of-Duty Death

Bantam, Conn. — May 23 — In remembrance of Boston Fire Department Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr., who lost his life while performing his duties, the Bantam Fire Company joined fire stations throughout the area. Kilduff committed his professional life to serving the public and helping those in need while serving with Rescue Company 2. The emergency services community acknowledged his passing and offered support to his friends, family, and fellow firefighters.


Responders are reminded by line-of-duty deaths of the dangers involved in emergency operations and the value of cooperation, safety, and training. As firefighters considered Kilduff's devotion, dedication, and accomplishments to the field, the Bantam Fire Company sent its sympathies.
