Croydon Fire Company Observed Memorial Day

Croydon, Pa. — May 25 — In observance of Memorial Day, Croydon Fire Company Station 11 joined communities nationwide in paying tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives while serving their country. The yearly celebration acts as a reminder of the sacrifices made by military people to protect the country. Communities across the nation honored those who did not return home with celebrations, memorial services, and tributes on this day.


Members of the department took time to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day and the lasting impact of military service. The celebration also brought attention to the common dedication to duty shared by the emergency services and military communities.
