Hughestown Emergency Services personnel attended an evening training session on June 8th that covered water supply management, fireground operations, and strategy.

According to officials, the training started with a presentation on the Fireground Playbook by Task Force 1, Inc. that covered tactical priorities, fireground strategy, and the decision-making procedure utilized in emergency situations. The relationship between strategic goals and tactical measures that support effective fireground operations was discussed.

Crews moved to the Primary Center on Rock Street after the classroom section, where firefighters performed relay pumping operations between Engine 1 and Squad 3. Members reinforced collaboration and communication among apparatus workers while practicing setting up and maintaining a dependable water supply.
