Members of the Veterans Affairs Fire Department joined communities nationwide on May 26th to commemorate Memorial Day and pay tribute to the men and women of the US Armed Forces who gave their lives while serving their country.
Memorial Day, according to officials, is a moment to honor the bravery, commitment, and selflessness of those who lost their lives protecting the country's liberties. The department considered the sacrifices made by service members and the lasting impact they have on society.
