When Brush 21 and Engine 21 responded to help a disabled farm tractor on a mountain road in May, the Trough Creek Valley Volunteer Fire Company's 40th request for service marked the end of a busy month.
According to officials, the big tractor had broken down and was obstructing one lane of traffic, posing a risk to drivers.
