Photo by RON JEFFERSWhen Newark firefighters answered a full assignment on Chadwick Ave., June 15th, they found fire on all floors in the rear of an occupied three-story wood-frame dwelling, extending into the Bravo exposure. Hand lines were put into place to suppress the fire involving the exposure, as well as attacking flames in the original structure, on this humid afternoon. Two alarms and a Signal 9 (two additional engines, one truck and one battalion chief) were transmitted for Box 4344.
