The FDNY Phoenix Society organized an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration on May 28th, which brought together members of the City of New York Fire Department.

The event, according to officials, brought together department employees, visitors, and community members to honor and celebrate the contributions, customs, and cultures of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Martial arts displays, cultural music and dance performances, educational talks, and interactive exhibits were among the events.

In addition, FDNY First Deputy Commissioner Daniel Flynn gave remarks to the attendees, who also took part in a luncheon and photo ops during the occasion.
