Crescent Hose Company members commemorated Gunner Keener, Josh Stanbro, and Coen Turri's successful completion of Firefighter Essentials training on May 24. Along with firefighters from many nearby agencies, Joe Beach of Fuller Hose Company No. 1 joined them in the achievement.

According to officials, the course culminated in a live-fire burn exercise where students could put their training to use in a real-world firefighting setting after months of classroom education, practical skills training, and hands-on exercises.
