Members of the Crescent Hose Company honored the emergency medical professionals who serve the community on a daily basis on May 18th in observance of National EMS Week.

The department's paramedics, AEMTs, EMTs, EMRs, and EMS vehicle operators, according to officials, are vital to emergency response and frequently assist communities in their most trying times. Department heads pointed out that many hours of planning, training, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care go into every call.
