Bristol, Pa. — May 25 — In observance of Memorial Day, the Bristol Borough Firefighters Association (BBFA) joined communities nationwide in paying tribute to military personnel who lost their lives while serving their country. The yearly celebration acts as a reminder of the sacrifices made by previous generations of service members and the families who are still carrying on their legacy. To honor those who never made it back home, Memorial Day celebrations, parades, and memory events were organized all around the region.

The day represents the ideals of responsibility, dedication, and public service for emergency services personnel. BBFA urged locals to take a moment to honor the departed while acknowledging the long-lasting effects of their service. In communities around Pennsylvania and the country, the celebration is still a significant custom.
