Plattsburgh Firefighters Observed Memorial Day

Plattsburgh, N.Y. — May 25 — Plattsburgh Professional Firefighters Local 2421 observed Memorial Day alongside communities nationwide, paying tribute to U.S. military personnel who lost their lives while serving their country. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by previous generations of service members and the families who are still carrying on their legacy. To honor those who lost their lives while serving their country, Memorial Day celebrations and neighborhood gatherings were organized all around the region.


The day represented the ideals of responsibility, dedication, and public service for the emergency services community. Residents were urged by Local 2421 to mourn the departed and pay tribute to their contributions to the history of the nation.
