Members of the West Leyden Volunteer Fire Department attended a training course on water supply operations and equipment handling on May 21.
Nine firemen participated in the evening simulation, which focused on driver training, relay pumping procedures, and drafting operations, according to officials. Members were able to improve their operational abilities while strengthening communication and teamwork through the practical activities.
