At a nearby salvage yard, Adams Fire Department personnel practiced vehicle stabilization and extrication on June 1.
According to officials, firemen rehearsed methods for properly stabilizing damaged cars and freeing trapped individuals in severe auto accidents. In addition to strengthening teamwork, communication, and rescue techniques, the practical training gave participants the opportunity to operate extrication equipment in authentic settings.
