Mt. Lebanon School District Honors Lt. Kris Siegert

 The Mt. Lebanon Fire Department announced on June 9th that Lt. Kris Siegert was honored by the Mt. Lebanon School District for his commitment to educating the community about fire and life safety.


Siegert has spent years teaching citizens, teachers, and students about life safety, emergency planning, and fire prevention, according to officials. Through his efforts, safety awareness has been raised in schools and in the community at large.


Siegert's work has had a long-lasting effect on many people by imparting critical safety information and preparedness abilities, according to department officials. The honor is given to him as he gets ready to retire after a stellar career in public service.
