The Mt. Lebanon Fire Department notified eligible applicants on June 9th that the department's Fire Lieutenant application time is almost over.

All applications and the necessary online tests must be finished by June 17, 2026, according to officials. Firefighters who qualify for the promotion have the opportunity to grow professionally and take on more leadership duties within the department.

In addition to stressing the need of good leadership in supporting emergency operations, training, and community involvement, department executives urged interested applicants to finish the application process before the deadline.
