Regional Partners Planned Joint Water Rescue Training

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — May 31st — Volunteer Fire Company of Huntington. #1 Station 75 Fire attended a meeting on boat and water rescue operations with a number of mutual help organizations. Representatives examined their watercraft's capabilities, specialist rescue gear, and the resources at their disposal. Local launch locations, equipment inventories, communication protocols, and operation norms for situations on nearby waterways were all discussed.


Future multi-agency training exercises on the river will benefit from the session as well. Officials pointed out that preparedness and communication are crucial because water emergencies frequently call for a coordinated response from several departments. The gathering increased preparedness for upcoming water rescue and emergency operations across the region and reinforced regional partnerships.
