Morrill Department Paid Tribute to One of Its Own

MORRILL, ME — May 15th — Firefighter Andrew Cross's passing was mourned by the Morrill Volunteer Fire Department along with other firefighters and emergency personnel around Maine. Cross was known for his devotion to public safety and his willingness to assist others. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter.


The emergency services community, whose departments frequently assist one another through training collaborations and mutual help, was affected by the loss. His family, friends, and coworkers received condolences from other firemen, other agencies, and community residents. Cross's dedication and efforts during his tenure were acknowledged by department officials. Those that worked with him will remember his dedication to serving the community.
