BELFAST, ME — June 2nd — Ashley Doughty has been promoted to Full-Time Firefighter/AEMT by Belfast Fire and EMS. Doughty has continuously shown a good work ethic, professionalism, and a dedication to helping the Belfast community, according to department supervisors. She is well-known for putting the needs of the team first and has gained the respect of other firemen and EMS staff by helping colleagues and supporting departmental operations.

Her commitment to emergency response and patient care, according to officials, made her an excellent contender for the full-time position. Her ongoing development within the department and her services to public safety are reflected in the promotion. Doughty will now work for Belfast Fire and EMS full-time.
