Local 3265 Members Complete HydraFusion Strut Training

Keene Fire Department Local 3265 members took part in specialist technical rescue training on the City of Keene's new Paratech HydraFusion Strut system on May 29.


According to officials, firefighters received hands-on training with the stabilization equipment utilized during complex rescue operations from instructors Joe and Henry from Strategic Safety Dynamics. The assembly, stabilization, and operation of rescue equipment frequently used in automobile accidents, structural collapses, and other technical rescue emergencies were the main topics of the course.


Technical rescue calls are among the most difficult situations that firefighters deal with, requiring sophisticated skills, coordination, and precision, according to department commanders.
