Members of the Town of Canton Fire and EMS Department took part in the Cherry Brook Primary School PTO Children's Fair on May 29th, allowing kids to meet local firefighters and examine a fire equipment.

According to officials, the event gave families an opportunity to speak with emergency personnel and discover more about the department's involvement in the neighborhood.

Firefighters and Canton Police Department personnel were sent to Canton Springs Road for an uncommon rescue while the fair was going on. Several baby ducks that had gotten stuck in a storm drain were rescued with the help of responders.
