CHESTER, NH — May 12th — As part of its continuous apparatus maintenance program, the Chester Fire Department finished the yearly pump testing on Tanker 1, Engine 2, and Ladder 1. To make sure every vehicle was still prepared for service, W.D. Perkins conducted testing that assessed pump capacity, water flow, and operating performance. In order to ensure that equipment can function as intended during emergency situations, the fire department requires annual pump testing.
The Chester Fire Department, located at 27 Murphy Drive, continues to place a high priority on equipment preparedness through routine maintenance and inspections. Wayne Perkins and his team were also acknowledged by department authorities for their ongoing assistance in maintaining the fleet's operational readiness.
