AUBURN, NH — May 27th — In order to improve rescue operations and mutual assistance coordination, firefighters from the Auburn Fire Department trained alongside Candia Fire Rescue during a car extrication practice. In order to simulate the rescue of a victim who was trapped, crews used a variety of instruments and techniques to cut and stabilize cars. The training allowed firemen to collaborate in real-world scenarios and concentrated on skills frequently required after major auto accidents.

Joint training is a crucial component of emergency preparedness since Auburn and Candia personnel often respond to crashes along Route 101 together. According to department officials, the exercise enhanced operational readiness, teamwork, and communication, enabling both agencies to better serve their people during emergency situations.
