NOBLEBORO, ME — May 23rd — During their Basic Fire School training, seven members of Nobleboro Fire and Rescue accomplished their first live fire burn, marking a significant turning point in their professional growth. Students gained practical experience with fire behavior, suppression methods, and safe fireground procedures during the training's actual fire operations and forestry firefighting drills.
During live burn training, recruits can apply classroom knowledge in a safe setting while developing their practical abilities and self-assurance. The seven trainees are almost finished with the fire school curriculum and are anticipated to become the department's newest inside firefighters, strengthening emergency response capabilities for the Nobleboro neighborhood, according to department officials.
