NICHOLSON, GA — May 10th — In appreciation of mothers' contributions to families and public service, Nicholson Area Fire Rescue joined communities across in celebrating Mother's Day. The event brought attention to how crucial mothers are in helping their loved ones, especially those who work in emergency services. While working long hours and reacting to emergencies, many firemen, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and other first responders rely on strong family support.

Mothers make several contributions to the community, both inside and beyond the public safety field, according to department officials. Mothers in the community were acknowledged by Nicholson Area Fire Rescue for their daily devotion, support, and commitment to their families.
