Mutual Aid Partners Trained Together in Berks County

LAURELDALE, PA. — May 19th — Central Fire Company members took part in a joint training exercise that covered pump operations and hose line progress. In addition to learning coordination and communication skills essential in structure fire responses, the training gave firefighters practical practice deploying and advancing charged hose lines. In order to assist fireground operations, crews also examined pump operations, including maintaining appropriate water pressure and flow.


The training was carried out in conjunction with a nearby department, strengthening ties of mutual aid and enhancing agency interoperability. Firefighters spent several hours honing critical skills despite the warm weather. These kinds of regular training exercises assist guarantee that staff members are always ready to respond to emergencies in the area in a safe and efficient manner.
