Ambridge Firefighters helped teach children about fire safety and prevention on May 9th by taking part in the Old Economy Home School Event in Ambridge's historic quarter.

According to officials, as event workers taught children about American history, firemen spent several hours at the event educating kids about fire safety. Through interactive exercises and presentations, the program gave students the chance to learn about both local history and public safety.
