Members of WKFD Station 240 conducted water supply training at a nearby river on June 3rd, with an emphasis on pump procedures and drafting operations.

According to officials, firefighters used two drafting techniques that were unique to the department: "burp draft" and "turbo draft." Members reviewed pump operations and conventional drawing techniques while alternately operating the system after the equipment was set up.
