NIVERVILLE, N.Y. — May 18th — A number of employees of the Niverville Fire Department Inc., located at 888 County Route 28, received recognition for finishing significant training courses and academic benchmarks. Ken Kannally, a firefighter, was sworn in at Kinderhook Town Hall after completing Fire Police School. Hayle Profera, a firefighter, graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management.

Leo, Alex, and Connor successfully completed the Basic Exterior Firefighter Operations program, while the Shulkin brothers accomplished the Survivor/FAST training series in the Columbia County training tower. The accomplishments demonstrate the department's ongoing emphasis on professional growth, education, and training, which keeps members ready for the demands of emergency duty.
