SPENCERTOWN, NY — May 27th — Nearly fifty firemen from all throughout the area attended a training session with the LifeNet 7-1 helicopter team hosted by Spencertown Fire Company. Landing zone operations, radio communications, scene safety, and air medical crew coordination were all included in the program's classroom teaching. After that, firefighters learned about aircraft operations, emergency protocols, and onboard safety systems during a practical exercise with the helicopter.
