BERNVILLE, PA — May 25th — Bernville Community Fire Company observed Memorial Day and paid tribute to service personnel who lost their lives while serving their country alongside communities all throughout the United States. The purpose of the annual celebration is to honor the military personnel who gave their lives to protect the country. Members of the department understood the value of taking stock of their work and the liberties upheld by their devotion and hard work.

Additionally, Memorial Day is a moment to memorialize the families of dead service members. The day represents common ideals of responsibility, service, and dedication to others for many in the emergency services community.
