ADELPHIA, NJ — May 18th — Adelphia Fire Company honored emergency medical personnel who treat patients and answer to calls all year long in observance of National EMS Week. The department expressed gratitude to the staff members of Farmingdale First Aid, Howell Police EMS, and Howell First Aid & Rescue Squad for their dedication to community service. The significance of EMS personnel in emergency response, patient care, and public health is highlighted during National EMS Week, which was founded in 1974.


EMS workers provide medical care around-the-clock in collaboration with fire and law enforcement services. The occasion offers a chance to honor their professionalism, commitment, and ongoing contributions to the security and welfare of the communities they serve.
