Members of Bordentown Township Fire District No. 1 joined communities nationwide on May 25th to commemorate Memorial Day and pay tribute to the men and women of the US Armed Forces who lost their lives while serving their country.

Memorial Day, according to department officials, is a moment to honor the bravery, commitment, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to defend the liberties that Americans enjoy today. The families of fallen service soldiers, whose sacrifices are still remembered, were also thanked by the members.
