UNCASVILLE, CT. — May 28th — During an evening training session, Mohegan Fire Company members assessed new tools and equipment for possible fireground and rescue operations. Firefighters were able to evaluate the equipment's capabilities and real-world uses while getting hands-on experience with it during the informal drill. These kinds of training events assist departments in evaluating new technologies and guaranteeing that staff members are conversant with tools prior to their deployment.

Attending the presentation and helping with the equipment assessment was Deputy Chief Clark of Laurel Hill Volunteer Fire Co. No. 6. According to officials, the training was beneficial and promoted knowledge sharing across adjacent departments, strengthening operational preparedness and regional collaboration.
