Thirteen Pittsfield Fire Department Members Honored at EMS Banquet

During its annual banquet on May 17, the Emergency Medical Services Committee of Berkshire County presented Save Awards to members of Pittsfield Fire Department IAFF Local 2647.


According to officials, the awards recognize emergency personnel who successfully resuscitate individuals who are in cardiac arrest. Firefighters Clarence Gunn, Jack Roy, Marc Rosa, Tyler Vu, Jonathan LaCasse, Matthew Tobin, Sam Din, Captain Matthew Risley, Lieutenant Kendrick Reese, Lieutenant Brandon Bailey, Temporary Lieutenant Kyle Bailey, and Probationary Firefighters Justin Nackoul and Carolina Jones were all acknowledged by the department.


Department leaders praised the recipients for their professionalism, training, and dedication to patient care. Officials also highlighted the importance of teamwork and collaboration with local ambulance services in achieving positive outcomes for patients.
