Recently, the Helmetta NJ Fire Department Hosted a "Building the Water Supply Infrastructure" Class. On the last day a full scale exercise was held as a review of the 4 day class. In which the following topics were covered: LDH hose operations, drafting, and water tender operations starting with nurse tender operations using a Rural Hitch, then transitioning to a full water supply point with a draft engine, transfer engine, and several drop tanks. In addition two fill sits were establish, each with two fill stations.
