On Monday, May 26th, 2025 members of Garfield Fire Department Co. 3 attended 3 ceremonies to honor those on Memorial Day. Members attended the Garfield Fire Department Memorial Day Ceremony at City Hall that morning honoring those that in the department lost this past year. After members of Rescue Engine #3 hosted a Memorial Ceremony honoring 2005 Line of Duty Death Chief Engineer Angelo Petta. Rescue Engine #3 renamed the hall of their firehouse to "Angelo Petta Memorial Hall". Members also officially announced Angelo Petta as an Honorary Chief of Garfield Fire Rescue Engine Co. 3.
