As part of continuous water supply readiness exercises, members of the Atwood Hose Fire Company used HT196 to conduct drafting operations training at a pond on May 21.
According to officials, the training concentrated on drafting water from static sources like rivers, ponds, and cisterns in places without fire hydrants. In situations typical of rural emergency responses, firefighters trained setting up water supply operations and using equipment.
